Maintenance of plush toys

1.Keep the indoor environment clean to minimize dust. Regularly clean the surfaces of toys with clean, dry and soft tools.

2. Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight and keep the toy dry both inside and out.

3. When cleaning, necessary measures can be taken according to the size. For small ones, first use tape to cover the parts that are afraid of wear and tear, then directly put them into the washing machine for soft washing, spin dry, hang them in a cool place to dry completely, and gently pat the toys intermittently to make their fur and fillers fluffy and soft. For large toys, you can find the filling seam, cut off the seam, and remove the filling special (acrylic cotton). Special parts can be left out (to better maintain the shape). Use tape to stick the parts of the accessories that are afraid of wear and tear. Wash and dry the outer skin, then put the filler into the toy skin, shape it and sew it up.

4. For wool/cloth or dolls equipped with high-intelligence electronics, cores or speakers, it is essential to remove the electronic components (some of which are not waterproof) or batteries before washing to prevent damage from water.

5. After the toys have been cleaned and dried, use a clean comb or similar tool to comb them neatly along the direction of the fur to make the fur smooth and beautiful.

6. Check if the plush toys are clean and hygienic. Among the fillers of substandard toys, there are discarded plastics, fiber ropes, paper scraps, and even black-hearted cotton that is strictly prohibited by the state.

7. Twist the eyes, nose and mouth of the plush toy to see if they are firm. If the small parts on the toy do not meet the national standards in terms of tensile strength, it is an unqualified product.

8.For the sake of good health, one should regularly consume and clean plush toys.

9. A simple and feasible sterilization and disinfection method can be achieved by gently ironing the lint back and forth with a high-power steam iron, which also has a certain sterilization and decontamination effect.

10. Key points for washing plush toys at home: For toys with few small parts, you can hand wash or machine wash them in warm water at 30-40℃. When cleaning, use neutral laundry detergent. For long plush toys, using cashmere detergent will be more effective.

11. How to prevent toys from getting dirty easily and extend their lifespan? When purchasing toy packaging, do not discard either paper boxes or plastic bags, as they can be used to wrap up dust during storage. In areas with a humid climate, to prevent toys from getting damp, desiccants can be placed during storage. When storing stuffed toys, try to avoid piling them up to prevent deformation and damage.
